Every move costs you a breath. Apnea is an underwater puzzle where the scarce resource isn't time: it's moves. Every swap costs a breath. A match of three doesn't give it back. Four or more does. Everything else grows from that one rule: making a move isn't enough, it has to be a big one. And every time you settle, the seabed gets closer. Break the crusts before you run out of air. You can't touch them: they crack when a match lands right next to them. Chains give you breath back, but each link is worth half the one before — progress stays your choice.
